• USC PASA NETWORK

     Student Affairs

The PASA Network is a student-run organization for the Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (PASA) program at the University of Southern California (USC). We work to promote academic and professional development of graduate students in the field of higher education administration and student affairs. We also coordinate social networking opportunities aimed to develop connections between students within the program, program faculty and staff, alumni, and prospective students.

  • Who Are We?

Meet Your PASA Network Executive Board

    Solomon Matthews

    President

    Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana

Favorite Thing About USC: I attended a small state school in the oldest city in Louisiana. What I enjoy most about USC is everything being on a bigger and grander scale - the events, the student diversity, and of course the resources (including the Trojan Network)!

If I Could Live Anywhere, I Would Live: California has everything I could ever want! Beaches, mountains, and forests! I have always wanted to live in Spain, but until then I am happy where I am!

One Meal for the Rest of My Life: My mom's red beans and rice, fried chicken, and cornbread! I'm a NOLA boy at heart!

Other Hobbies: I enjoy anything outdoors when the weather is beautiful! Going to the beach, hiking, or just walking around somewhere new! I loving talking to and meeting new people so any social event or gathering I am always down to attend! I am an avid supporter of the arts so any artistic event, exhibit, or performance - I'm there!

    Hugo Yepez

    Vice President

    Born: Lakewood, California

    Hometown: Paramount, California

Favorite Thing About USC: Trojan spirit, pride, and family.

If I Could Live Anywhere, I Would Live: Australia (but I'm scared giant spiders)

One Meal for the Rest of My Life: For my appetizers I would start with spam musubi and carane asada tacos. For my main course I would have Korean BBQ and Monsoon Noodles. For desert I would have double chocolate cake.

Other Hobbies: Being punny. Trying new food and desert locations. Going to music festivals. Doing research. Discovering new hiking trails. Occasionally working out. Watching an obscene amount of TV shows. Dancing at every chance I get. USC TAILGATES!

    Gelli Ann Dayrit

    Special Events Chair

    Born: Pangasinan, Philippines

    Hometown: Arvin, California

Favorite Thing About USC: The Trojan Spirit and being a part of the Trojan Family!

If I Could Live Anywhere, I Would Live: Generally, I would love to live near the beach. However, I would love to revisit Italy and live there for a few years. My life has never been the same with all the pasta, seafood, and gelato! For retirement, I would like to live in San Diego, California because it has everything I love--beautiful beaches, hiking trails, food, and nightlife!

One Meal for the Rest of My Life: Wow, this is tough to answer. I'd have to go with pizza (build my own of course) and a side of ranch!

Other Hobbies: I am a regular at the Lyon Center where you'll see me weight lifting! I love anything outdoors from hiking, tanning at the beach, and playing sports (football, beach volleyball, soccer, etc.). Additionally, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places and restaurants. I also love spending quality time with my family and close friends.

Favorite Thing About USC: I truly enjoy the Trojan Family and the network of professionals and friends that I have gained from my experience. USC has been able to provide me with some of the best faculty also.

If I Could Live Anywhere, I Would Live: When I went to UC Santa Barbara I studied abroad in Paris and would love to return there at some point, but I really do enjoy living in LA!

One Meal for the Rest of My Life: My mom's enchiladas or sushi forever!

Other Hobbies: When I am not in class or working, I enjoy playing tennis, running and spending my weekends reading at coffee shops.
